Yeehaaw!!! Finally Placed!!!

It was just another summer evening, I was as usual playing Battle Stations (BS) on FB. I sinked a fort in the game and was very happy since I wanted for a long time. I began the process to upload the picture regarding that on my profile, feeling very happy that this is my lucky day with no idea what more the day has in store for me.

Just when I was to click upload, Sheru's message flashes on profile page. Now sheru is a friend of mine who has a habit to bug me. It was regarding the interview that took place before the last weekend.

"Oye! did you get a call from the company from or not?"

"No. I didn't. Did you get one?"

At this point, sheru thought of making fun of me. So he informed that he has got the call and was selected and so I should be worried.

"Yes. And they were asking me about the joining date."

"Please tell them to consider me also. No problem on joining date. Will join whenever they want."

"What can I do regarding that. You try to call the Training and Placement (TnP) regarding further information.", said Sheru, laughing with other friends. I never did understand how he derives pleasure from just simple mischiefs. On this suggestion, the other friends told him that I may really call TnP and then on charge of providing false information he may land into trouble.

I on the other hand, opened the TnP website and logged in. It states, ' Welcome Dear student.' Next line states,' Congratulations!!! You have been selected.' I was like, "What!! Whose account have I opened. I didn't get a confirmation call from the company. Whose account is this??" Only after I verified it 2 times that it was my account, I yelled, "Yeeehaaaw!!! Finally Placed." Immediately I tried waking up my sleeping friend to tell him about this and even after one minute of slapping he woke for 2 seconds just to say "congrats!!" and then went back to sleep. I then went back to chat with Sheru.

"Oyeee!!!! I too got selected. yaaahoooo!!!"

Sheru and his friend's jaws dropped open. Sheru thinking,"yaar! yeh zizou toh hamare maje le raha hai!!! What to do now??"

Finally the other friend Damer, opened his account and found the same result. Then they believed me. Damer went mad. He went screaming in the whose floor, going to everyone's room and going mad with excitement. He then went on to call half of the Punjab's population on phone to inform that the unthinkable has happen and Damer has been placed.

I on the other hand called to my elder sister with a big grin on my face. If only she could have seen my face, she would have realized how happy I was. Then informed the other family members about this news. Now the BS fort sink, was totally forgotten by me. Then went on to other friends with a big smile and the lips wanted to extend more like the Joker in Batman series but they were already hurting still I could not control the joy and happiness. Even I don't remember if I was ever happy like this anytime in my life.

So finally after a long time and patience, I was so happy. In night while going to bed, I realized that I wanted to call one more person. But since that person doesn't care anymore about me, I said to myself, "Who cares !!!" and the grin was back. I am pretty sure I was smiling even when I was asleep. What a Day.!!! Thank you God!!!

Girl in the Window

"aahaa!!! " As I relaxed in my bed in the evening after another hectic day at school and tuition. School has just reopened and the teachers ready to collect the summer assignments. School has been boring after I blasted Sodium in chemistry lab and got pretty harsh scolding from teacher. So keeping a low profile there after. The summer heat also plays along with studies to suck my energy away and just can't stop myself from taking a short nap in evenings. Without wasting a single moment I went to my dream world.

The dream world's journey was interrupted by a melodious voice. As usual I tried to find the source of the voice in the dream but had to finally give up and woke up. Now there is one thing that I really hate and that is being disturbed from a sound sleep. Frustrated I moved in the direction of voice and as I reached the window, the frustration vanished in a moment.There are few moment in one's life that one remembers so vividly as if reliving them each time one thinks of them. Such beautiful moment was the day of my life when I saw her.

Whether it was sleepiness or the evening weather, I felt for a second that I saw something divine. Exactly opposite to my window, in my neighbor's window, there was this beautiful angel singing a song. I was brought to my senses as the voice changed from melodious to harsh. It turned out that she has a brother and they were playing antakshari. So for next 15 mins or so I enjoyed the melodious songs and during the hoarse ones... I was planning what to do next.

First day at blogging

Sitting in the armless chair in front of computer, i try to stop myself falling asleep. The AC air is so so comforting... just want to take a quick nap before the guard comes to wake me up. Well who want to go outside in the scorching heat of Delhi where literally one feels as being raped up by the hot and dry air. If only the exterior changes could make me happy then i wouldn't be so gloomy.

This is the time when most of my friends are going back to home for the last time from MNIT. I am a very emotionless person usually and don't tend to form attachments with people, part of which is due to my childhood experiences. During the stay at college i didn't try to change and yet those bastards have become such close friends of mine that just the thought of living in hostel without them makes me nostalgic. Such is the result of leaving together.

I know i am not kind of person to write good stories but i think i will improve and something nice will start coming eventually.
